Laminara Laminate Sheets – Made in the UAE by Sanco
Laminara is Sanco's own brand of decorative laminates. Each sheet is 0.8 mm thick, 100% phenolic, anti-bacterial and stain resistant. Carpenters, joinery workshops, fit-out contractors and furniture makers use them for kitchens, wardrobes, offices, hotels and shops. We hold stock in Sharjah and deliver across the UAE.

Laminate Finishes Explained
- Synchro (Sync Z) – the surface texture follows the grain of the design, so woodgrains look and feel like real timber.
- Suede – a soft, low-sheen texture that feels smooth and hides fingerprints.
- High Gloss – a mirror-like shine that reflects light and makes rooms look bigger.
- Zero finish – advanced pressing for seamless joins without gaps or overlaps.
- Non-repeat – a continuous pattern without the repeats seen on standard laminates.

What thickness are Laminara laminate sheets?
Laminara decorative laminates are 0.8 mm thick (plus or minus 10%) and are tested to IS 2046-1995. They are made for interior use.
What is the difference between laminate and melamine MDF?
A laminate is a thin decorative sheet that a carpenter bonds onto plywood or MDF. Melamine MDF is a ready-made board with the decorative surface already fused to it. Sanco supplies both.
Which laminate finish should I choose?
Synchro woodgrains look closest to real timber, Suede finishes are soft and low-sheen, High Gloss gives a mirror-like shine, and the Rustic ranges give a stone or concrete look. Tell us where it will be used and we will suggest a design.
